The American Express Fan Experience at the US Open is situated in the heart of the Billie Jean King Tennis Center. Inside, we created a playful world for fans to interact with that blended tennis with the best of New York in ways that were new and accessible for all.
There were a range of activities for fans to explore, including a life sized game of pong where you could choose your favorite NYC borough to represent, a digital graffiti wall where fans spray painted custom artwork onto a city building, and a replica subway car, where the windows were swapped for digital screens that took fans back in time through some of the US Open’s most iconic moments.
For Card Members, a personal escape awaited upstairs. Your Amex card granted access to a private bar with frozen honey dueces, hair and makeup touchups from Glamsquad, and multiple areas to relax including the Highline garden that overlooked the first floor experience.
