We brought an NBA 2K meta store into the real world with some real life superstars.
NBA fans spend millions on NBA merch in real life.
But they also spend millions on merch in 2K sports. So we set out to make Amex THE card for basketball fans in the real, and virtual worlds.
Amex card members could browse gear in the store and get free virtual currency tokens to instantly unlock in-game. We even hosted a 2K tournament featuring WNBA and NBA heavyweights, live in-store and on Twitch.
